Hello, hello, hello and welcome to my blog!! >beeg grin< 
I'm just sooo excited today!!! Can you tell?!? Not only has Michelle McCoy welcomed me onto her Crafty Scraps Creative Team, but I've started my own blog . . . How's that for a super exciting day??

Well, how'd it all start, you ask... Well, in 2006 I started out making personalised papercraft cards for family and friends. Even though my nephew's wife tried to introduce me to scrapbooking, I wasn't interested. At the time I didn't think it would be half as creative and fun as cardmaking... Boy was I wrong! 

In March 2008 I hosted a Scrapbook party (for the gift - terrible I know!) . . . There & then the bug had bitten and I was well and truly hooked. Over the next 2 years I spent a small fortune on scrapping tools, supplies & paraphenalia and had a pretty little mountain to show for it. Packing, unpacking and schlepping it all around became more and more of a nightmare though, so imagine my (and my hubby's) glee when I stumbled across Scrapbook Max's website on my return from Hajj in Jan 2010 . . . 

I simply fell inlove with all the creations I saw there. I jumped right in and bought the software immediately. It was a dream come true, so quick and easy to use. In no time at all I was active in the competitions and learning in leaps and bounds. I was well and truly hooked. That's where I met my favourite designer, Michelle McCoy. She was a designer at the site and had her own forum & blog too, of course I followed her there and finding everyone sooo wonderfully friendly and helpful, I haven't wanted to budge an inch since my arrival :) Her blog and store are always so wonderfully full of beautiful kits, fun challenges and gorgeous freebies. Who can resist . . .

So now you can imagine why I am soo excited at being welcomed to the Crafty Scraps family!!!
